What are >alternative suggestions for recurrent BV? Run screaming from the exam room, kidding of course....actually our practice is participating in a study to use a metronidazole impregnanted ring (kind of like nuva ring) for bv, same old med, new delivery system....I have so many recurrent bv patients who have been seen and "diagnosed" by other providers who have no conclusive evidence for bv when I see them...also have some with truly recurrent bv...let me know what you find out...I have heard of the boric acid capsules as well.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
