Why should you believe that Buscopan would have an effect on acceleration of labour. What is the pharmacological basis for this? Have there been any animal studies or any phase 1/2 studies in humans? -----Original Message----- From: kanyakumari@rediffmail.com [mailto:kanyakumari@rediffmail.com] Sent: 25 February 2003 14:28 To: Multiple recipients of list OB-GYN-L Subject: Help needed regarding effects of Buscopan in cervical dilatation Hello all, I am currently embarking on a study on the effects of Buscopan(Hyoscine N Butyl Bromide) in acceleration of labour. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
