I think the orange/red "black box" may be variable, depending on model, etc.

The Canaries location was obviously a misprint. I noticed that when I first received the quiz in an e-mail and was talking to one of my kids when I forwarded it, so I forgot to correct it.

The Canaries were, to my understanding, named for the Latin word "canis," meaning dog, obviously. The bird and the island are thus named after "dog." (If memory serves, the dogs that killed that woman in the hall in California, owned by two lawyers no less, were the large Presas Canarias, a breed specifically developed in the Canaries as a watchdog/herding dog.) The dogs indiginous to the islands, which of course had been left there by seafaring travelers, were the reason the islands go their name.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
