While I think there's some comfort in having an M.D. oversee the process, (it sure beats having it done by an illegal immigrant in a rented house on the wrong side of the tracks), it seems a bit cheesy to have this service in a medical practice. I think if my gynecologist told me he was going to do to this, I'd go elsewhere.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
