Dear List Members,

I am a ob-gyn. who besides traditional activities passionately enjoys endoscopy. But in my part of the world, it is difficult to keep running endoscopic approaches due to expensiveness and unacceptability of competitive equipment and scarce government funding of health care.

About me. I am a Ob-Gyn. for twenty years in the country Uzbekistan, unknown for majority of the people before September 11, but used to be the south part of the SU. Now I combine managerial and professional duties in the medium size Ob-Gyn. Hospital in the capital of the country. Recent times I have enjoyed silently the discussions on the list and was benefited much from members' passionate, open and generous contributions.

Question and query. What will be advises from list members about possibility to acquire new, not expensive and/or used, but in the good conditions endoscopic instruments and equipment. Taking from your places and shipping from the US should not be a problem for me. Offers of unused equipment, instruments after cleaning the storages would be greatly appreciated by me. Question is general about specific part of the market and in the cases of positive reference, I will discuss specific details than.

Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Alex

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
