I am a Cuban-American, I have looked into doing an elective in Cuba, it definitely would be interesting...I know they do offer programs. I have an email address that was forwarded to me, however, I don't think they ever wrote back when I wrote... I don't remember exactly what happened but you can try emailing them at: colmed@infomed.sld.cu

This was an address that was sent to me by someone else who I had sent an inquiry about doing some sort of elective in Cuba. I am not sure if its just that the dates didn't work out or I didn't hear from them, but maybe you will have better luck. If it works out let me know. Good luck.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
