Anna, Shame on you, El wasn't criticizing Alexia. He was criticizing the guy who did this.

El,

Shame on you! How could you be so impolite to a second-year med student who is just expressing her opinion? Gosh, she might get the wrong impression of OBGyn's and decide to go into family practice.

Alexia, unless I am mistaken, that was your first posting to the list. Welcome and don't be put off. Not everyone here is as rude as Dr. Lisse. We value everyone's opinion, including med students.

El, keep in mind that, as an American medical student, Alexia most likely does not own a Porsche or a country club membership, and is quite likely to be at least $50-$100 thousand in debt already with 2.5 more years of school yet to go. Be nice.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
