Re: Woman Claims Doctor Branded Her Uterus

Hello:
I guess this is a touchy subject for some. I thank you, though, for the
welcome, and hope that I can broaden my knowledge on what's happening in
the world of obstetrics and gynecology. I want to be the best-read
third year when I am on my OB/GYN rotation! (Yeah, I'm a bit of a nerd
like that!) One of my "Infectious Diseases" professors recommended that
I visit this site. Obstetrics is amazing to me, and I've wanted to be
involved with women's health and labor/delivery since junior high. I
think it's a fabulous tool that women can use to enrich their knowledge
of their bodies, and a great way for them to ask questions they may be
too embarrassed to ask their own physician. Not to mention that it's a
cool tool for nosy, overzealous med students like myself to learn from.
:)
Thanks, everyone, and I look forward to visiting the site.

2nd year med student, Cornell
Oh-- and by the way: I'll graduate from med school when I'm 24 and will
have incurred about $85,000 in debt. No country club or Porsches for me
for a WHILE. :)
