That's basically the way I learned it. The bladder flap is easy, in a pregnant woman. The post stick (doubly armed 5 mm Mersilene tape, or equivalent) needs to slide through the uterosacrals.

You CAN put the knot in the back, so that it COULD be taken out through a colpotomy incision. However, most people leave the stitch in.
