GEN: Insurance correlates?

For the Group:

I'm looking for a source, "official" if possible, to get data on malpractice insurance rates and related numbers that I can correlate among the states with the states' laws on malpractice caps. The issue I want to look at in particular is: Do states with a malpractice cap of some sort have lower malpractice rates, or not?

Anyone have any knowledge of a source for that type of information, either on the http://www or in books? I'd appreciate any leads.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
