Dismissal Upheld of Expert Witness's Defamation Suit Against Judge Miami Daily Business Review Though not amused by the choice of words hurled at an expert witness, Florida's 4th District Court of Appeal has upheld the dismissal of a complaint filed by a doctor who claimed a judge damaged his reputation by calling him a liar in open court. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
