Not so strange. You wanna read a really cool story, go to http://www.aafp.org/x7157.xml and search past issues Feb, March, and May 2002. 2-part story and follow-up on Gordon Moore, an FP in Rochester, NY who runs his entire practice HIMSELF. Answers his own phone, even. No nurses, no receptionist, no billing clerk, not even an answering service. It's an amazing story, and apparently things are working out well for him.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
