HRT lecture debriefing

I gave the HRT lecture to 70 or so women and about 8 men tonight. The talk lasted just under an hour then my colleagues and I took questions. I was pleasantly surprised: the questions lasted 2 hours and were all excellent. This is the first time we have undertaken a talk like this for non-physicians. It required some effort to put together, but I would gladly do it again. Education is an important component of our work, and the audience response confirmed that educated patients are critical to good health. By the way, over 70 people from all over the world have requested the HRT slides. Thanks for the nice comments. We have a wonderful community of friends and colleagues on our discussion list. We should acknowledge this other than just during holidays.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
