I thought the mechanism for endometriosis in an incision was direct implantation at the time of surgery, not the triad of hypothesized etiologies of "normal" endometriosis. Therefore, I would think a wound endometrioma from uterine surgery would NOT be related to "normal endometriosis." In fact, you could almost make the case for calling it
