For the reasons Trish mentioned re stickiness etc, and due to the experiences my HRT patch patients have had, I'm not very hopeful about the success of EVRA.

Nice concept, but I can only imagine the reactions of my patients to the inconveniences Trish mentioned.

What I anticipate is a plethora of patients who call in because of "weird bleeding" owing to the fact that the patch fell off, was removed because it was in an area that showed when they went to the pool, they got tired of "maintenance" etc. Kevin

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
