Electronic Medical Records

Do any of you use an electronic medical records system which is linked to your office billing/insurance/registration system?

I am involved in looking into this for our office....found a really good EMR program (Encounter from Medicalogic.com but our practice administrator wants to get a linked system. And Encounter may, or maynot continue to take new subscribers since it has been bought out by GE.)

Any words of wisdom?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
