we have had this debate before, Men of Steel :-)-O

Forceps or Vacuum used to be largely a matter of preference. The only advantage I can see in forceps, is that you can clank them :-)-O

With regards to the sad state, if you induce almost 100%, give them all an epidural and turn the Oxytocin on, you of course have lots of complications, requiring intervention.

If you don't I'd think much more fall out spontaneously.
