Pit as induction or augmentation ? Usually augmentation. I prefer Cytotec for induction.  What would you say is your induction rate aside from augmentation ? Over 90% vaginal delivery with induction. Hard to say aside from augmentation, 25-50 % get augmented. Iâd also say less than 10% of my patients go into spontaneous labor (uh oh, now the flames are going to fly.) What is your policy on VBACs ? I donât do them.  I should preface that with the info that I have had four VBACs after 40, the last a homebirth. All babies were macrasomic Well, you are an adult, so you get to make your own decisions in life. Not what I would choose, but thatâs okay. ........might I also ask if cytotec is part of your induction procedures ? Primarily. Your section rate is most impressive ! I actually got written up while I was in the Navy because my numbers were more than 2 standard deviations from the mean. My c-section rate was 4%, Navy average was 21%! Bureaucrats!!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
