Not a good idea, Joe. There's unlikely to be any change with either Doxycycline or Augmentin, and you run the risk of candidal overgrowth. To me the most sensible suggestion was the yoghurt one, but don't ask me dose, method of administration or length of course! stray DoctorJoe@aol.com wrote:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
