<<It is interesting that you include the link from Pennsylvania. I was at a meeting last week and talked at some length with an MFM from Penn. We were commiserating about the whole issue of reimbursement and insurance, etc. I told him that there had been discussion on this list about union and the "million med march". He advised I contact the Pennsylvania State Medical Society because they had become quite highly organized... Lynn>> Well, Pennsylvania is also going to be leading the nation in studying the root causes: Pew to tackle Pa.'s medical-malpractice issue Despite a new state bill, the foundation has decided to spend $3.2 million over two years to study the continuing legal, medical, economic problem. http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/business/2864574.htm

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
