Re: cystoscopy after hystFrom: Braun, R. Daniel (rbraun@iupui.edu)Fri Mar 15 08:10:32 2002
Show them the latest edition of TeLinde's. It is recommended there. I am not doing it on all cases, just hose where I have some concern. If on a "Routine" hyst, you do get a ureters and you haven't scoped her, I will bet that the plaintiff will introduce TeLinde's. I do it more often early in the year(academic), when we have NEW Chiefs than I do later in the year. It has the advantage of giving them some exposure to the cystoscope and the inside of the bladder. We do it on all Burch's. R. Daniel Braun, MD There are strange things done in the midnight sun By the men who moil for gold; The Arctic trails have their secret tales That would make your blood run cold; The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, But the queerest they ever did see Was that night on the marge of Lake Lebarge I cremated Sam McGee. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
