Marco -

I have never been chicken to do a vag hyst on someone without prolapse - but this is one that I would not do vaginally. Her multiple LEEPs have left nearly no differentiating point between the anterior cervix/vagina/bladder. It is like whe Has had a trachelectomy already...

I have done many (not as many has you - of that I am quite certain) VH with big uteri, non-prolapsed uteri - even some with no pregnancies ever.

But this one ... I was just there doing the H/S and D&C and it happens to be one I wouldn't want to tackle from below...

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
