Don't get me started on the subject of Ob-Gyns as primary care providers, but for those of you who are going to insist on doing it, there is a nice little ATP-III Palm program available at http://www.NHLBI.NIH.GOV. Type in pt's age, gender, numbers, and check off risk factors and you get an instant readout of what their goal numbers should be. Very cool. It doesn't unzip til after you install it so it's a bit different download and install but I was able to do it so it's pretty much idiot-proof.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
