This is great news. Congrats Dr. Gibbons!!! I'm gong to try to arrange an interview by phone with him for broadcast on OBGYN.net to discuss his agenda as President. Maybe now we can have more of a dialog between OBGYN.net and ACOG than has seemed possible in the past. Dr. Gibbons is a great man, I am so pleased to read this news.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
