Re: Office: no show appointmentsFrom: ginny lee, CNM (kaupilimakoa@hotmail.com)Sat Mar 9 07:15:43 2002
WOW you call everyone ahead of time! With two docs, one cnm and one np we sometimes see more than 70 pt per day, can't imagine having time to call all of them. First missed appt they receive a letter, charged $25 missed appt fee, second miss is certified letter then d/c from practice. Pregnant pts seem to get a little more leeway...still its a problem> > >-- >D. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
