I thought about this, but it's such bad PR, and the expense of collecting it is probably not worthwhile. A major problem is when new patients no-show. They have no loyalty to the practice because they have never met the staff or providers. Many practices book longer appointments for new patients, meaning it's a double hit when they no-show. Further, try to bill a patient who has never been to your office! I can't imagine just not showing up for an appointment. Thanks,

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
