metforminFrom: Robert_Rossi@matria.comWed Mar 6 14:43:27 2002
Do any of you listers, particularly those of you outside the US, have any experience with the use of metformin for treatment of diabetes in pregnancy. I am aware of the data on metformin for PCOS. I am interested in pregestational or gestational diabetes use. I found some info from Dr Cotzee in S.Africa and a couple of small studies but am looking for more info, anectodal or otherwise. Thanks in advance for your help. Bob Rossi, R.Ph. C.D.E. Clinical Pharmacist Consultant

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
