That seems to be a modus operandi in cases like this. A number of attorneys around here make comments like "Oh, he/she wasa terrible lawyer, so the partners put him/her up for judge. Now he/she isn't practicing anymore and we're all better off. At least the law clerks will keep him/her on the right path with the judicial decisions."

Of course, that may work for doctors, too. Any slow to mediocre docs now quit practicing and work as HMO "experts?" LOL

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
