I am a 48 yr old female, non smoker. I cannot have any more kids but my OB put me on Birth control awhile ago due to what she said was a hormone imbalance. I went off in Dec due to migrain headaches were getting much worse. I have not had a period since Dec. I have had 2 episodes of sever lowere stomach pains. Lasting approx 45 min each, one my husband took me the emergency room at 3 in the morning. I have also had a sever right lower back pain for quite sometime now. This pain is between my lower middle back and right side on the hip. Can this be related to a female problem? I have not felt very well over the past few days, very tired and back pains all the time. need some advise. I do want my dr to schedule an MRI for my back but they don't seem to think that's nessasary. I have a history of syst on the ovaries.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
