Used to use these only as a stop gap while the patient was on a waiting list for surgery, so the question of what to do long-term raely arose, but I have had one or two women so afraid of surgery that they have kept them indefinitely. In those cases, if they can't or won't clean them themselves, I would do it for them every three months. Usually, a new one would be required after about the third time. stray ainsron@msn.com wrote:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
