Zofran too expensive? Tell that to the surgeons in my town. It's on everybody's routine standing orders. The ortho who fixed my feet ordered it and I tossed cookies all night til the nurse finally called him at 5AM to ask for a compazine order. The ENT who took out my kid's tonsils ordered it even though I told him it didn't work for me at all. My kid tossed cookies all day in spite of three doses of Zofran and the ENT refused to order Compazine so I took her home still vomiting and got some at the pharmacy. Hadn't heard there was an IV Compazine shortage. Too bad. It's still my favorite.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
