Most of these folks eventually do fine with q3-4 month returns. My assisstant washes it with liquid soap, rinses it well. I do a spculum and digital exam looking for pressure sores and put it back in. I usually bring them back at 1 month the first time - not ueuslly a week. If it is going to fall out it is usually in the first 24 hours and they call.
