Re: Prior abdominoplasty--for LAVHFrom: Braun, R. Daniel (rbraun@iupui.edu)Mon Jan 28 08:35:44 2002
What is wrong with a Vaginal Hysterectomy?????? Dan R. Daniel Braun, MD Laws to suppress tend to strengthen what they would prohibit. This is the fine point on which all the legal professions of history have based their job security. Let's assume that I can't get the op note, and even if I did, I'm not sure that it would help. Would you avoid a lapscope and just open her based on the prior surgery? If you are going to lapscope, would you do open (Hasson) technique? Right now, I'm favoring the latter. Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
