Garry, this should have been a skin and subcu fat operation, so it shouldn't affect your approach to laparoscopy. On the other hand, I always use the open Hasson technique.

If you open her, I would worry about where the blood supply to the skin flaps is coming from, so if you can use the old incision, that would be best. Gail Waldby, MD Huron Clinic SD
