arthralgiasFrom: Charlie Chambers (cchamber@gorge.net)Wed Jan 2 15:03:39 2002
Wonder if anyone had any suggestions. Have a young patient with documented antiphospholipid antibody syndrome on chronic coumadin who is not pregnant. She has a history of monoarticular arthralgias of unknown etiology. She came in today with a swollen left wrist and middle finger. Plain film was normal. She has not other affected joints today but other joints affected in the past. Each episode lasts around 2-3 days. I've drawn labs for autoimmune disorders. Any other ideas? ************************************************************************* Charlie Chambers Hood River, OR -- cchamber@alumni.rice.edu

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
