I believe

Geff Klein, some years ago, brought forth this forum.

It has grown enormously, and matured pro forma.

There is a spectrum of nationalities, cultures, personality profiles, sensitivity levels, proclivity to humor (high and low), hubris, humility, mood, sobriety (in some cases), and so forth.

A community has been built. Each day is a family reunion, for all the joy and for all the dysfunction.

First day in anatomy class, prof challenged, "feel skin on underarm; feel skin on back of neck. Different? Yes! Why? The coconuts land on your neck."

There is here, first, dignity, respect, and the opportunity to learn from each other. This does not limit the forum from playfullness and schoolyard antics. The wayward traveler here has no grasp of the community. Ashley is so sweet, it makes me want to vomit. Bob is such a badass, I want to get a gun. tj defines a new religion. Mats sets an example for intellectual class. Dan is Uncle Remus. Joe is H.L.Mencken. El is the paragon of free spirit. Bernard, is, well, French. Malcom is a waanebe Scotsman. Steve is CEO, no holds barred. The rest of you came from the army of Iraq.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
