Re: OB: Fun with preeclampsia--very long!From: Len2976@aol.comMon Jul 30 07:53:27 2001
"In a message dated 7/29/01 11:02:39 PM Eastern Daylight Time, garrys@mindspring.com writes: << Based on what you've heard, her diagnosis is: 1. Severe Pre-eclampsia 2. Gestational thromobcytopenia 3. Hemolytic uremic syndrome 4. ITP >>" Does it matter? Any OB or perinatal consultant I've worked with would deliver any patient with these diagnoses at 38 weeks. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
