U/S - 6 cm complex L adnexal cystic structure. No ascites or other abnormality. Laparoscopy confirms - but - accessibility of ligaments not easy. Laparotomy with LSO - fresh/frozen evaluation consistent with cystadenoma without malignancy. Expect final path tomorrow. Home about 24 hours post op. Joanne PS: the main thing with the personalities and toe stepping was peeling the patient off the cieling after she was abruptly told by and unknown nurse she had ovarian Ca. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
