Congratulations on setting the new world record for consecutive hydrocephalic fetal demise. I'm quite surprised that a VP shunt was not considered prior to demise, but that's "water under the bridge...and into the ventricles" at this point in time. You would do well to monitor this woman for impending DIC prior to induction & perhaps stick to prostaglandins - they seem to work best in this setting.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
