Natural Selection

"P. S. Of course, the corollary is: Left to their own devices, humans, at least SOME humans, ARE pretty damn stupid. Cocaine? Drunk driving? Group sex? Twinkies for dinner? I mean, how stupid can you be and still have a brain?!?"

WRT Joe P.'s statement above, I am aware of many individuals involved in search and rescue missions in the mountains and elsewhere who often feel that in rescuing folks from dangerous situations they stupidly get themselves into, that they are interfering with "natural selection" As the government interferes with and tries to protect us from ourselves, we seem to be creating a vast generation of folks without a shred of common sense, which will inevitably be reproduced into even more stupid offspring.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
