In no other circumstance I've seen is twins, per se, an indication for cerclage. Are many other REIs recommending this? Perhaps its something that needs to be brought up diplomatically at a OB committee meeting. Chart reviews are good way to educate and inform peers of inappropriate procedures and change behavior of "outliers."

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
