I have an REI colleague to whom I refer to and who refers to me.. We have a good relationship and overall we have similar practice philosophies, but as with any practice there are points of disagreement.. A patient saw me preconceptionally who was planning IVF. Later she returned pregnant with twins around 9 weeks. This is her first pregnancy. The REI broke her hand and cannot do surgery. Because her REI had recommended cerclage, the patient asked me to do it, but I refused stating that she did not need it.. Well, long story short, she requested records and will be seeing another doc... can't please em all, I guess... -- _______________________ Geffrey H. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
