I actually had a similar one two weeks ago. The frozen section suggested a endometrial stromal sarcoma. Final pathology was a "benign stromal nodule." They sent it to Stanford and the consultant agreed that it was a benign stromal nodule. I believe our pathologist sent this one to Stanford for confirmation also. Our gyn oncologist always looks at them himself too.
