I have used the same code here and payors have paid. You are doing more "work" with an induction and adding the code to you delivery code makes sense.

One of the throw away journals recently covered this question in their coding column. Interestingly, the "code expert" did not recommend using the 59200 code, rather coding only for delivery route charges, such as 59510, or 59514 et al. The question came from an OB who was doing inductions during the winter for women who live 45 minutes to an hour away.
