The virus you speak of must have come from somewhere other than ob-gyn-l.

The only virus I have found from obgyn.net was the NAVIDAD virus which I received not from the ob-gyn-l list, but rather from one of the other ones from obgyn.net. There is a post on it by me from November 20, 2000, on this forum.

The only virus I have received in the past two months (that I know about) has been the dwarf4you virus. I have not received any other attachments with an EXE or VBS, or any of the other common virus suffixes, from ob-gyn-l or elsewhere.

Of interest, the ob-gyn-l list will forward attachments (perhaps excluding thowe with EXE and other potentially dangerous suffixes), but the attachments are not available when reading the mailing list from the web.

I'm sorry to hear about this trouble!

I looked through the last 3 days of OB-GYN-L archives and could find no viruses. We attempt to scan and delete any virus sent to the forums. If you wish send it to me at bruce.speyer@medispecialty.com (i run virus scan) and perhaps we can figure out more?

Thanks Bruce

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
