Zach: Remember, she was started on Prempro + Premarin while she was having regular 28 day cycles. Are you suggesting that when her cycles were 28 days on the meds that was normal, but now that they're more irregular they're not???? I think we'd agree that this is the reason not to start HRT in menstruating women, but I'd disagree that these cycles are necessarily normal. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
