While HRT may be a risk, it should be no higher risk than during a normal cycle. Perhaps baby aspirin would ameliorate that risk. One wonders if the increased risk of clotting would outweigh the health promoting benefits of HRT. Is this a case where we treat the lawyers rather than the patient? The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
