I was the patient! I can tell you in no uncertain terms that the procedure to break the scar is definitely not painless. My OB used an amnihook to stretch the pinhole to 3cm. 3 hours later stretched to 6-7cm digitally. A rim was still remaining 2 1/2hrs later requiring augmentation for infrequent contractions. Large baby via ventouse/forceps. My previous birth prior to Lletz loop was as normal as you could get. Could be that my reproductive years are nearing an end. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
