Termination of pregnancy advice.

It's purely my opinion. Incidence of divorce ,or in other words ,no of broken families are far less in India. Here you 'll see very very few couples like.Naturally,to limit no of children within one or two, the acceptance of termination of pregnancy is much higher here .Even the Govt of India has passed liberal rules in 1971 to accept and apply the procedure freely.I see people here from all casts, instead of giving importance on contraception, they go for an induced abortion very easily without any feeling so far. They demand it for very trivial reasons. So I can say "changing partners in life maens less no of abortions on demand".So is the reverse as well.Psychiatric problems following an induced abortion is nearly unknown here. In a settled married life with fixed sex partners (husband/wife )throughout whole life, when parenthood is already gained, the couple is,usually least interested in continuing a troubled pregnancy. Moreover if any untoward complication develops later on in an otherwise physiological organic change, the party maynot be able to cope with the adverse situation. In that case they'll go to the consumer court, with the complaint for failure to foresee ,where nonmedical persons are chaired.backed by medical professionals (with least clinical IQ )to supply funny ideas, sufficient enough to drag you to the court. There, punishment is though a remote possibility but harassment and loss of working days will wait for you..And you know doctors are not a part out of the society and its feelings,so the advice for termination is there and the ball is in patient's court. We can exchange further ideas on social obstetrics like this if the forum permits.Sorry, a long time is taken.Better you consider it as a sort of E(motional)-MAIL. Thank you for patient reading.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
