The last ad I did was to sell extra olympic tickets in Atlanta so its been awhile..... Dr Niebyl and I have just published "Drug Therapy in Pregnancy" (published, by Lippincott, Williams and Wilkins). The book is for health care providers taking care of pregnant women, including ob gyns, family medicine practitioners and nurse midwives. There are 26 chapters on use of pharmacologic agents during pregnancy and lactation and treatment of medical illnesses, as well as a chapter on complementary and alternative therapy during pregnancy and lactation. We don't comment on depo and lactation however. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
